Web browsers are great at helping you manage unwanted pop-ups and redirects, but what do you do when the redirect is wanted? If you have a third-party site integrated with Malbek CLM, a redirect may be needed, for example, so that you can provide authentication or consent. Another common example is sending a contract for eSignature. You can usually complete this process without having to leave Malbek CLM, but not if you selected the option to add additional eSignature tags. In that case, a new window opens that is managed by DocuSign or Adobe Sign, which means it tends to get blocked.
What You Can Do
Your browser will have some way of alerting you that a website was blocked, but it may not be obvious if you don't know where to look. To find blocked websites, check in the address bar. You should see an icon that looks like a browser window with a red "x" on it, or something similar. Click this icon to find more information about what was blocked. From here, you should see a hyperlink allowing you to navigate to the blocked site and get on with your work!
If this comes up a lot, or if you want to prepare in advance, one option is to add your Malbek CLM URL as an exception in your browser settings. Links to browser-specific information are provided below.
Note: Before changing any browser settings, we recommend checking with your company first to make sure that you are following any internal policies or best practices for managing pop-ups.
